North Carolina sod company replaces turf for $300,000

Installation of the new turf at Kyle Field is complete, according to a Twitter post by the Texas A&M University System.
“Update: Installation of the new turf at #KyleField is now complete! #TAMU #12thMan @AggieFootball,” the tweet read.
After the field was damaged during the football game on Sept. 13 against Rice, the university announced it would replace the turf before the Ole Miss game on Oct. 11.
Carolina Green, a sod company based out of North Carolina, replaced the turf, which cost $300,000.
A Saturday press release said the football team will have the opportunity to hold practice on the field this week before it leaves to play Mississippi State this weekend.
