MOST UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE ON THE JOB: When I interviewed a family who evacuated from Hurricane Ike to relocate to College Station, and I had a chance to share their story with thousands of readers. It was an emotional time for them and to watch them come out of trauma with a positive note, it made it imperative for me to convey their feelings.

SOMETHING PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME: I wrote a poem which was published in a newspaper in Pakistan. Perhaps, where my journalism interests stem from.

IF I HAD TWO SPARE HOURS, I WOULD: Read a book.

WHY I AM WORKING FOR THE BATTALION: It is an experience walking into the Newsroom and being in the midst of events happening. I want to share the events, the happenings with my fellow Aggies and make the Battalion the best it can be within the process
