The Texas A&M women’s basketball team increased its win streak to six games after a 14-point rout of the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs (12-5, 0-4 SEC) in Athens, Ga. Sunday.

The Aggies (13-4, 3-0 SEC) went on a 17-4 run in the first half behind sophomore forward Courtney Walker, who led the team with 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field. Junior transfer Achiri Ade was a force on the glass for the Aggies, wiping the boards clean with a career-high 16 rebounds.

A&M went into the half with a 31-17 lead, holding their opponent under 20 points in the first half for the fourth time this season.

The Aggies held off the Bulldogs in the second half on their way to a 58-44 win, earning them back-to-back victories against ranked opponents.

The Aggies head back to Reed Arena for their Thursday meeting with the No. 10 South Carolina Gamecocks in a game that will determine the sole possession of first place in the SEC.
