Sophomore business administration major and potential starting quarterback for Texas A&M University Johnny Manziel was arrested Friday after 2 a.m. on Northgate.

According to a report by The Associated Press, police said Manziel was involved in a fight and was carrying two fake IDs. The report said he gave police a phony Louisiana driver's license that showed his birthday as Dec. 6, 1990. His real Texas driver’s license listed his date of birth as Dec. 6, 1992.

A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin has been made aware of the situation.

“We are gathering all the facts and will handle the situation once we have all the information. We are disappointed with his actions and this is out of character for Johnny,” Sumlin said in a statement.
