My group of nine attended the Auburn vs. Texas A&M game this past weekend. All but one was either an AU grad, about to graduate or attend AU. The one remaining was a Texas A&M graduate. We arrived in College Station around 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning from Houston. I just wanted to express my thoughts to the Aggieland nation. I have never felt more welcomed on any visitor campus in my life. Aggie fans went out of their way to say [“Howdy”] or “Welcome to Aggieland” before and after the game. You can never appreciate the traditions, unless you attend a Texas A&M game. We were proud of your cadets and what they mean to Texas A&M and our country. Your student body was terrific! I have been telling my friends and family, if you want to see college football at its best, you need to attend a game in Aggieland. We too are proud of our traditions on the Plains of Auburn and look forward to many great games with Texas A&M.
