OverpoweredScarborough hurls home-opening no-hitter in Aggies 6-0 victory over Sam Houston State
No. 3 Texas A&M head softball coach Jo Evans said before the season it was important to take care of business at home, where the majority of the Aggies' no conference schedule would be played. Senior All-American Amanda Scarborough made sure that happened right off the bat, as she threw a no-hitter in the Aggies' 6-0 home-opening victory over Sam Houston State Wednesday night.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Team proved to be the most knowledgable about black history, taking first place Tuesday evening in the Think Fast Game Show in Rudder Theater. The team won a cash prize of $1,000 for their victory in the Black History Month version of the Think Fast Game Show, hosted by the MSC Woodson Black Awareness Committee.

On Tuesday, National Pancake Day, Shriners Vice President Ed Staples, President Kevin Karli and member Owen West stand outside of IHOP where free pancakes were given to support the
Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Shriners provide free healthcare for children up to 18 years old and will receive all of the donations made.
