Senior Josh Carter tied the school record for career 3-pointers in Texas A&M's 96-78 win against Jackson State on Friday at Reed Arena. Carter equaled the 232 3-pointers that Bernard King put up from 1999-2003.

A&M women's basketball team beats Michigan, 59-56
The No. 7 Texas A&M women's basketball team improved to 3-0 with a win against Michigan on Thursday. Senior Danielle Gant scored 16 points and Takia Starks added 13 points to help A&M win 59-56.
Michigan had the chance to tie with time almost up, but Carly Benson's three-pointer fell short and bounced off the rim.
