Aggie volleyball team falls 3-0 to rival Longhorns

The No. 3 Texas Longhorns swept Texas A&M in the Lone Star Showdown in Austin on Saturday. Despite the sweep the Aggies held the sets close, forcing Texas to make comebacks in the first two sets.

No. 7 Texas Tech upsets No. 1 Longhorns 39-33

Texas Tech students camped out in front of Jones Stadium during the week before the Red Raiders game against No. 1 Texas. The village, dubbed "Raiderville," was the first sign the game, a 39-33 upset victory by No. 7 Texas Tech, would be unlike other games around the nation.

No. 9 Cowboys blow out Cyclones 59-17

Oklahoma State sophomore Dez Bryant posted four touchdown receptions and 171 yards in the No. 9 Cowboys 59-17 blowout of Iowa State on Saturday in Stillwater, Ok.

No. 21 Michigan State defeats Wisconsin 25-24

No. 21 Michigan State needed every last second of the game to defeat Wisconsin 25-24 and stay in the hunt for a share of the Big 10 title with Ohio State and Penn State. It would be the Spartans first Big 10 championship since 1990 if they finish strong.

West Virginia continues resurgence, defeat No. 25 Connecticut 35-13

After starting the season on the wrong foot with consecutive losses to East Carolina and Colorado, West Virginia has won its previous five games. Saturday, No. 25 Connecticut was the latest team to fall to the Mountaineers in a 35-13 loss.
