Regents name Murano sole finalist in Presidential search
At the Texas A&M Board of Regents meeting today, Elsa Murano was named as the sole finalist in the search for the University's new president.
Murano is currently the vice chancellor and dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
The University president position opened up after A&M President Robert Gates left in December to become Secretary of Defense.

Byrne suspends football players from team
Two Texas A&M football players were arrested on robbery and drug charges Wednesday in College Station, and A&M Athletic Director Bill Byrne suspended them from the football team Thursday.

Richard Ewing, the former vice president of research at Texas A&M and a distinguished professor in the math department, died after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday, according to University officials.

First year graduate students and second year undergraduates in the A&M architecture school present a light show Wednesday in the Langford Architecture Center. The free light show allowed the architecture students to present their final projects. There were 32 presentations in all.
