Twelve Texas A&M volleyball players played Tuesday in a strong three-game sweep of Sam Houston State 30-15, 30-17, 30-17. The victory improved A&M to 15-6 on the season while the Bearkats droped to 9-11.

After three weeks of conference play, Texas A&M, with a 2-1 record, is tied for first place in the Big 12 South.A&M has one of these opponents remaining (Oklahoma), and has already played the other two (Oklahoma State and Texas Tech). A&M lost to Tech Saturday 35-7.

Water clear. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and liver.
