Joseph Jones declares for NBA draft
Texas A&M junior basketball player Joseph Jones announced today that he has entered his name into the 2007 NBA draft, going against a previous statement by Jones saying he was going to stay at A&M for his senior year.
Jones did say it is still possible for him to return to A&M next year because he has not hired an agent.

Flood and tornado watches hit Texas
More than 80 counties in central and northern Texas were issued a tornado watch until 8 p.m. Tuesday by the National Weather Service (NWS).
Brazos County remained under a flash flood watch until 11 p.m.
"Everybody in the Brazos Valley could be in for some severe weather tonight," said Shane Motley during Tuesday's KBTX noon broadcast.

Appelt dies, leaves legacy
Leslie L. Appelt, a benefactor to Texas A&M who donated funding for multiple University projects, died at his home Sunday in Bastrop. He was 88.

ROTC students might qualify for tuition rebate
