Less human than humanEvery person's value must be the same
It takes a lot to be a person these days. According to some bioethicists, just being human does not cut it.

Editorial - Jim Carlson is best SBP runoff candidate
An experienced activist for the student voice and advocate of diversity, Jim Carlson is the best choice for student body president in the 2005 SBP runoff elections.

Wolfowitz must prove himself competent
On March 16, President Bush nominated Paul Wolfowitz to be the leader of the highly-influential World Bank. Wolfowitz is an effective diplomat, but his costly idealism, lack of experience with banking and focus on spreading democracy throughout the world are all shortcomings that raise questions about why he was nominated.

Mail Call - Corps members are more prepared to yell
Let me start by saying that I was part of the Corps of Cadets and I am proud of it. Also, I understand why some non-regs may be upset by all Corps yell leaders.

Mail Call - Every student has the right to vote
I am confused as to how Ms. Mayberry bases her claim that the "yell elections don't represent Aggies."
|
Mail Call - SBP elections had too many games
We all stand united as one student body singing, "True to each other as Aggies can be." Funny how we can sing these words with such pride and confidence, but they fail to apply to this year's SBP elections.

Mail Call - Shackathon participants must respect Hart Hall
As a former participant of Shackathon, I highly commend the efforts of everyone involved in raising awareness and money for the poor. Keep up the good work!

Mail Call - Corps cannot decide who will be a yell leader

Mail Call - Colbert doesn't deserve any more campaign flack
As a member of the Class of 2003 and as a graduate student of TAMU, I am both proud of and disappointed in the current SBP election. I am proud of the passion and determination that the student body has exhibited in becoming literate of candidates' platforms, experiences and leadership qualifications.

Mail Call - Schiavo suffered for 18 years before her death
The death of Terri Schiavo is without a doubt a tragedy, but to say justice was not served and that she was murdered is simply not fair.
|
Mail Call - Edlin deserves Aggies' recognition after death
I'm a former student who still religiously logs on to The Batt's Web site to see what's going on in Aggieland. I was wondering if you were planning to make mention of the death of a great man: Bob Edlin.

Mail Call - Student Senate should rethink election rules
In light of all the allegations that have been thrown around, I would like to implore the entire Student Senate directly for new elections rules on how all student body elections are conducted.
