At the untimely hour of 3 a.m. Tuesday, junior political science major John Jackson was driving to Crawford, Texas, as senior sociology and history major Dorothea Pitikas found herself somewhere between Tallahassee and Texas A&M. Jackson, chairman of the College Republicans, watched President Bush cast a vote before heading back to the White House.
