College Station Police Department is looking for the suspect of an aggravated bank robbery that took place Friday morning.
At about 11:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the FedStar Credit Union on Harvey Road for a report of an aggravated robbery. Officers were told that a male suspect had entered the bank with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.
Investigators received information from other law enforcement sources Friday that the suspect is similar in appearance and method of operation to a suspect in several other bank robberies across Texas and Arkansas. The suspect in question is being associated with the bank robber known as the “Loan Ranger Bandit.”
The suspect was described as a white male, six feet tall, medium build, 20-29 years of age, short facial hair and last seen wearing black shorts, a black zip-up jacket and black high tops. The suspect's vehicle was described as a small blue or silver vehicle.
