Aggie sophomore Breeja Larson qualified for the London 2012 Olympic games as she outlasted reigning world champion Rebecca Soni in the 100-meter breaststroke by .07 seconds.
Larson becomes the first Aggie to join Team USA individually for the Olympics and second all time. Larson will join Christine Marshall who competed in the 2008 Beijing games while being part of the 800-meter freestyle relay.
“I can't believe how people are supporting me,” Larson said. “I keep getting text messages over and over. I thank them for their support.”
