MEMORANDUM

TO: Texas A&M University Students

SUBJECT: Aggie Basketball Tickets

All of us associated with Texas A&M University are obviously pleased by
the tremendous success of the Aggie basketball team. Unfortunately, it
became clear to everybody involved with last night's failed ticket pull
that demand for tickets has overwhelmed our traditional means of
distributing them. Obviously, that scene must not be repeated.

University administrators and student leaders met this morning to
devise a more efficient, and certainly more orderly, plan for dispensing
student tickets for the UT game?and for all other subsequent games for
which a heavy demand is anticipated. The plan will be announced later
today to all students via AggieAthletics.com.

Let's celebrate the success of Coach Billy Gillispie and the basketball
team in a manner in which we can all be proud. To do anything less is a
disservice to the university and the team, and certainly to fellow
Aggies.
