I, like Aggie Andy remember C. K. Esten vividly, and not to be picky, but the actual quote was "Good afternoon, football fans, Welcome to Kyle Field, Home of the Fighting Texas Aggies!!" Of course, the stadium would erupt everytime he said it before he even finished it. I even wrote Bill Byrne and suggested we resurrect that from archives and start using it again, but for some strange reason they don't want to do it. I think it would be a great addition to the pregame activities. Keith "Moon" Mullins 69

My dad loves his job with all of his heart. I have fond memories of him studying stats on a magnetic board when I was young. It's inspiring to watch someone living their dreams. Gig 'em!

Congrats Dave, I've logged many miles listening in the car to your voice & worried about "fading out" during the drive..
I thoroughly enoyed this great story in the BATT.. keep 'em coming. Stories w/ great beginnings usually have great endings. Traditions, spirit, discipline, nowhere but Texas A&M. "The farther you get, the closer you get."
Am I wrong, or is it looking Fall football weather early in the mornings?
Just me, I guess.....Gig 'em ! AggieAndy'61
