I am glad to see that the Battalion does not respect the privacy rights of these patients.
The photographer, Jon Eilts, should have taken the time to volunteer and help. Then he would have known that he was taking photos of patients in various stages of dress and his actions where wholly inappropriate. He would of known that he was photographing people getting extremely personal bedside procedures performed.
It is sad to see that an article that could have been good showing aggies helping those in need is ruined by a moron with a camera that has no respect for his fellow man.
Wow you're a real d-bag huh.

If you had actually looked at the photo you would have noticed that none of the people in it were in any state of undress or undergoing any extrememly personal bedside procedures (except in your mind maybe). How much privacy do you think any of those people have when there are about 200 other people right next to them? You see those tall screens scattered around the floor? You take those and place them around a bed if you do something that requires privacy. One bed has that and you can't see inside. So what are you seeing that nobody else does?
This reminds me of the joke where the Doctor shows a patient a series of ink blots and regardless of what the ink blot looks like the patient always says it looks like two or more people having sex. The Doctor informs the patient that he seems to be preoccupied with sex at which point the patient replies, "Me? YOU are the one showing me all these dirty pictures!"

John Smith, he did volunteer. He helped all of us see the massive amount of dedicated volunteer work by my Aggies that went into serving a community outside their own. That picture and article are testimony to the dedication and generosity of the A&M family.
They don't ask for headlines or publicity, but by golly it's great when somebody does take notice and give them credit for their generous services.
Way to go Ags!!! I'm proud of you all.

If you can identify a single patient here your eyes are better than mine.
