What a difference a day makes! I couldn't believe when the local news reported the approved tuition increase; the bottom line ended up a 13% increase, with average Texas resident tuition increasing $439. Salaries, savings account interest, not even inflation rise by such large amounts. The optimistic picture Interim President Davis painted for the Batt Thursday makes me think that interim is Latin for "not my problem next year". Even with my A&M education, I may never be able to save enough money to allow my children to be Aggies too.
