I graduated from Jourdanton high school, and grew up knowing the Norwood family. I know attend Texas A&M, and am very proud of Rebekah. I have never really known her personally considering she is older than me. But, saying the least, I am proud that she is doing what she is doing. I hope this opens the eyes of some students to realize how good we have it here in America. I hope one day we can all be as generous as Rebekah!

serve the poorest of the poor in a far off country. Since I take break from
my regular job and visit the slums and poor areas of my homeland India, I can
understand her calling and passion of serving the Lord.
Most of the Christians don't have the vision of taking up a challenge like
this young sister. When I see the royal life of T.V. evangelists and a whole
lot of other so called Christians, I am rather confused and disgested. The
price of a custom made suit of the mega preachers can clothe hundreds of children having not a pair of cloth. When the good hearted and compassionate
believers of America will wake up to start giving help to those genuine
missionaries who are ready to serve the poorest of the poor, thus fulfilling
the commission of Jesus Christ? Jesus said, if somebody is asking to walk one
mile, walk the second the mile. Those people who are in the slums are the
2nd mile walkers, and true followers of Jesus. Let us walk with them to make
a better world for the least in the world. Jesus said " whatever you have done to the least of my brethren have all done unto me". God bless that dear
Sister with His mighty power.
