An excellent story. I only hope that the Batt continues to keep the student body up to date on the university's research with articles of this caliber. Well done.

Nice to see the Zebrafish is still a wonderful model for human eye research. I once used Goldfish retina for horizontal cell studies and was amazed at the similarities between fish retinal function and human. Great work, keep it up.

I am very interested in this research, And would like more information on studies as the research unfolds, I have 2 daughter's both with a rare eye condition "achromotopsia" which affects the cones and rods, I would like to see ow to get my kids involved in a study like this to possibly help them, both are severly visually impaired.
