Why stop at the beating, sodomizing and pouring of phosphoric acid as a list of the atrocities that occured in Abu Ghraib prisons? You have left out a lot of horrible things! Prison guards gouged out prisoner's eyes, repeatedly shocked them, raped women in designated rape rooms, and hung femal prisoners upside down by their feet during menstration.
The difference between your list and mine is that Saddam Hussein's government ordered them done in Iraqi prisons before the the United States military toppled his tyrannical government in 2003. The acts of a few sick individuals at Abu Ghraib, though repulsive, should not be used as a talking point in a the liberal agenda, because they were just that: repulsive acts committed by a sick group of individuals who will be punished. It is not the policy of the US government to torture prisoners. The same cannot be said for Saddam Husseins repressive, violent regime.

I see, so when something is morally inconvenient for you, you dismiss it as being part of the liberal agenda. Nice.

Yea, that's right! When we break international human decency agreements and commit war crimes, we shouldn't be subjugated to international law or even warrant a full immediate investigation here at home. Why? Because America is #1! Whenever we do anything morally vacuous we chant the magic phrase: "Atleast I'm not as bad as [insert current enemy]". Prisoner sodomization, beatings to death, religious desecration, denial of habeas corpus: HELL YEAH! We are still better than the LOWEST scum of the earth, which makes war crimes A-OK!
