I first met Coach Gillepsie when he coached at Ellison High School in Killeen. I have followed his succesful career ever since, and I was immnsely proud when he came to Texas A&M. There, he has shown his mettle and class. He is living proof that we are pursuing excellence in all aspects of Texas A&M operations- he has been a boon for the Basketball program, and we have started Tailgating in our Motor Home for Basketball games.

Let's make sure we do NOT let him slip away, although I do believe he has a symbiotic relationship with A&M- he needs those Fighting Texas Aggies as much as we need him. I don't think money is the only aspect of his program.

I wonder, could he also be an Assistant Coach for Football?
