Perhaps he should get a reminder on which hand his Aggie Ring goes on...

Plenty of old Ags wear their ring on their left hand. Although I have heard different reasons for it (they are left handed and it is more comfortable that way versus the credo taken from the west pointers where they are married to their school and keep only their wedding ring closer to their heart), I have always thought it is up to the individual to determine where they want to wear their ring...

I am guessing that you are ignorant of the fact that many ol' Ags choose to wear their Aggie rings on their wedding finger. It shows their commitment to A&M.

Why would you feel the need to be so rude and condescending? The person before you was able to tell him the same thing except didnt come across like an ass. Pine Sol may have not known that was acceptable. Which I have to admit I am somewhat surprised it is acceptable. Especially if it was ever mistaken that it was a "Tradition" to wear on the right hand.

Almost every Old Ag I know wears their ring on their left hand, and I have met countless...so perhaps young Ags should get to know a few Aggies from past generations before posting snide comments toward our new VPSA, who has served his country honorably and with distinction as a 3 star General in the Marine Corps, has positively represented A&M as a national leader throughout his lifetime, and is absolutely the right man for this job! I am confident that General Weber understands deeply what being an Aggie is all about. FYI...when you wear your ring on your left hand with your class year out you'll notice the the crossed USA and Texas flags is what you see...represents dual allegiance to nation & state. The cannon, saber, & crossed rifle represent wilingness to fight and defend our country and our school. Sums it up pretty clearly when you look at the General's life.
