A 13 percent raise in tuition rates for students and a $500,000 plus raise for coach?? No wonder UT is attracting our potential best students.

How many times do I have to repeat this: the Athletic Dept. pays the coaches' salaries, not the University. Tuition and what Gillispie and Fran make are COMPLETELY disconnected. The money from their contracts comes from ticket sales and donations through the 12th Man Foundation.

Oh, and Mack Brown makes much more than Fran does, Rick Barnes makes just as much as Gillispie, and UT's tuition is comparable to ours, if not higher.
