Richard Becka semi-retired in 1995 and continued to teach until 2006. My grampa was such a wonderful and fun-filled person. I love him with all my heart and will miss him greatly. I know that he is in heaven with Finis looking down on all of us and smiling.

I was sorry to hear of the death of Richard Becka. My name is also Richard Becka. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1944 and presently reside in Tennessee. I was glad to see that Richard had such a distinguished career. My condolences to his family.

My grandpa was the most amazing man in the world. he could do anything, even after he had trouble walking and fell alot.. he would never give up. My grandpa was also a veteran, he was strong willed and always said what he felt. He was the closest person to me in the world, and will always be in my heart. Even after my grandfather could no longer talk and no longer had the strength to move, he still found the strength and energy to pull me back one day and ask me to stay. I miss you so much grandpa.. i love you.
