Yes, I know. That was an editor's mistake. Dr. Keyes is currently campaigning in Texas for for six straight weeks before our primary on March 4th.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thank you for acknowledging the editor's mistake. Alan Keyes is a current presidential candidate, but did run in 1996 and 2000, so can be described as a former candidate, but the lead sentence is misleading. Others have withdrawn, and Alan Keyes is a serious candidate, but has suffered false reports of his quitting days before and even the morning of primary elections. He is an outspoken conservative who has served the cause and his country for years. See for yourself: http://www.alankeyes.com

I like the comment from John Farmer, "our democracy"... hey John, did you even understand anything Keyes said? The U.S.A. is NOT a democracy and never has been! It's a Representative Constitutional Republic. Democracy is tantamount to mob rule, which is exactly what the founding fathers did NOT WANT.

Yeah! I'm an older woman from Houston...it is REFRESHING and ENCOURAGING that you know this!
"A lie told often enough becomes truth" Vladimir Lenin. Interesting who liked to repeat this one. The fact is, my 78 year-old father-in-law even believed America is a democracy. But then we asked him to recite the pledge of allegience. "I pledge allegience to the flag and to the...what? democracy? nope.
Yes, Andrew you are exactly correct. The founding fathers studied history...therefore they knew the danger of a democracy. The fainting spells and hysteria surrounding Obama (even though no one seems to know what change he wants or what he's hoping for) are a perfect example of what happens in a democracy...if you are a grand orator and can whip a crowd up, you can get them to do and believe about anything...Hitler was a master of oration too. God help us.

Tell your editor to step up his or her game! Dr. Keyes is running NOW, present tense... who is the editor trying to impress, the world has already labeled A&M an outcast to the mainstream.

Editor errors aside, the issue that most people need to concentrate on is the fact that this man is the best candidate on any party. If you read the books, if you read the interviews, everything he talks about is undeniably correct. I'm sure there will be antagonists, but the values and beliefs he stands for ring true in almost every freedom loving soul in America. Sadly, the media just don't want that message spread and very little of the general public know where to hear Dr. Keyes ideas if not on the maintstream media outlets. Vote for this man!
