Is it the day that A&M holds a wake in sad remembrance?

No... no... it's the holiday that the United Sates department of Education mandates that all publicly funded educational institutions must observe... or presumably lose their funding.

SUMMARY: The Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement announces that, pursuant to legislation passed by Congress, educational institutions receiving Federal funding are required to hold an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on September 17 of each year. This notice implements this provision as it applies to educational institutions receiving Federal funding from the Department.

But why must we observe a day for the U.S. Constitution? Didn't Bush get rid of that thing like, 3 years ago?

Nope its still well intact much to the disgust of people like you who prefer to throw out empty rhetoric versus fact and intelligent argumentation. But hey I suppose its easier to espouse idiocy than think right?

I've lost all faith in the future of our country.

Isn't it the day we celebrate what we have in common as Americans instead of the daily celebration of our divisiveness, I mean , diversity (defined as - my home country's culture is better than this crappy American culture).
