Abstract:
You can't escape the drama that's plaguing the world of celebrity and pop culture these days. If it's not Paris driving under the influence, then Lindsey's back in rehab or Britney's had another nervous breakdown....

Actually you should all slow down. It was not an apartment owned by Mary Kate. He was renting. It was all over the news. You just have to listen. And seriously who cares whose apartment it was. It is a sad day that such talent died so young and you are upset that the Battalion possibly misprinted the owner of the apartment? It was a rental people.

I do not understand how people can idolize Hollywood actors and actresses that use drugs and think that they can run around footloose and fancy free with no regard for the law or anyone in society. Seriously, how sad is your life that you have to get satisfaction from being a habitual drug user? That being said, if he did not die from a drug overdoes or suicide, and it was because of natural causes, than I rescind my previous comments. I'm getting sick and tired of reading the news and that a lot of it is focused around star-studded disasters. When will people grow up and realize that these people are pour examples for role models and that they really do not affect society and that the majority of the time we are laughing at them and not with them? Lastly, who really cares where his death took place, I think that that is pretty immaterial after the fact.

He was not abusing drugs, he had been prescribed sleeping pills and nti-depressants after his role in the new Batman movie really took a toll on his mental health. I do agree, however, that the location of is death is irrevelant.

I see that the Batt takes interest in Heath Ledger's death, yet I see nothing about the passing away of a wonderful and kind hearted professor, Dr. Hogg, at are own University. Did I miss it? perhaps it was to small to make the on-line version.

Okay 1. it was not any of the Olsen twins apartment. The reason that rumor was started was because the masseuse that found his body called their bodyguard, who happens to be her friend, because he was an EMT and only blocks away. 2. it was not suicide. The NYPD is not investigating it as a suicide but as an accidental death.

We do not know if he took his own life, the pills in the apartment were all prescribed to him and autopsy reports are inconclusive. Never yesterday were there any reports yesterdays saying he had taken his own life. It may very well be the case, but no one knows yet. Please check your facts before you print your paper.

I was thinking the same thing. Who at A&M cares that much about Heath Ledger? What about a great article about the wonderful teachings of Dr. Hogg. I am sure he will be missed by many students at Texas A&M.

Because those kinds of articles don't sell papers....oh, wait. Never mind.

Don't credible publications report on facts, not just pure speculation? This article on Heath Ledger's death is utterly useless. You could get more reliable information from internet blogs. How sad is that?

No one knows how he died yet. I never once said that I thought he took his own life, that was the other woman who was interviewed. Also, internet blogs aren't something you can read on your way from one class to another. If you dislike the article so much then maybe YOU should get a job with the Battalion and change it. If not then you aren't providing any solutions.. you're just bitching.
