You are getting one hell of a coach. He will be missed in Wichita. Your program will be just fine as will ours.

You don't think Coach Gillispie was very committed to A&M? Really?

What about your top ten ranking?

What about:

Texas A&M 2004-2005 21-10 8-8 NIT Quarterfinals
Texas A&M 2005-2006 22-9 10-6 NCAA Second Round
Texas A&M 2006-2007 27-7 13-3 NCAA Sweet Sixteen ?

Who did all that head coaching and recruiting?

I don't mean to be so smug. We're just so happy with Coach G.
I think A&M will be just fine, FWIW. :)

I wouldn't call someone who jumps on the first train out of somewhere committed. A&M fans are just dissapointed at the way he left. Obviously, you wouldn't understand. You are right we will be just fine, it's nice to have a coach who wants to be here now. I'm sure you guys are happy with "Coach G," at least for NOW. Let's see if you guys are still happy with him if he doesn't win a national championship in a couple of years.

What is it with you UK people? Are you so insecure with your current basketball program that you have to continually remind us that you hired our coach. It's the game man, now move on, we have.

They're not insecure just lame. The fact that there is a Kentucky fan reading our newspaper is pretty pathetic. I don't go around reading Kentucky newspapers looking for places to stick my nose. Something else I forgot to mention on my previous comment, what "uk fan" was describing was Gillispie's committment to winning, not his committment to A&M. If he was really committed to A&M he wouldn't have left so quickly.
