Wow, seems like a great guy, and tough but fair prof...I wish I had the chance to take a class from him.

His class was probably one of my most enjoyable classes while at A&M. It was interesting, and I probably learned more in his class than any other. I really had to work for the grade in his class. I think this is what a professor is supposed to be. Thanks Prof. Swim.

Swim is a great professor and an amazing man. I've often wondered where he finds the energy to do all that he does. From the cards, food bank, christmas toy drive, and so much more. He truly represents what A&M is all about.

Don't get me wrong his MGMT 211/209 class is not easy, he is very intimidating the first couple of weeks of class. Eventually you begin to realize he only does it because he cares about how students do and he wants you to learn.

Defiantly one of my favorite professors during college.

I am currently taking a class from Swim. Although there's tons of material, he's an awesome professor and reaches out to each student. No matter the situation his generousity continous shows.

Oh Keith, you're still the same great guy... hard as hell and seemingly stubborn, but a great prof and person nonetheless.

Swim's class is one of the best I've ever taken. He's a great guy.

"All right ya'll" I had Mr. Swim in 1998 and he was a great guy then and is still a great guy. Tough but fair is a great way to describe him. It is rare to find someone at A&M where you are a person not a number in the class. Everyone should take his class you will get a lot out of it.

Keith responded just as I would have expected to the first question. How in the world would he know or even care to figure out who goes to 4.0 and Go? Ditto on all the positive comments about Keith, although I never found him to be all that tough, but he was definitely fair. Maybe he is getting a little grumpy in his older years. I wonder if he still has that Matlock suit? He really saved my hind side. I probably would not have graduated if not for Keith. I am glad to see that he is still influencing college kids in a positive manner. Professors really have the opportunity to take advantage of their position to influence young minds and to top it off he is an attorney. Keep fight'n the good fight Keith. WOW! What a Great Guy.

I like how Swim continually tells students not to give a specimen or do any tests if stopped for a DWI. He tells them to call him. Great service to the community Mr. Swim.

dude is a douchebag, one of the worst professor in term of attitude. I talked to him a total of 2 times and he was a dick even though he didn't know me, and the questions were pretty simple and related to the test procedure. He just talks like he's nice but he's full of himself.

I had Swim in the Spring of 2000, and he's what inspired me to go to law school. He's a fantastic man, and will always by my favorite professor. He is tough, but that's because he expects a lot out of you. Some respond well to that, some don't. Personally, that's what I always admired most about him, and it's what makes him what he is. Someone that doesn't coddle you doesn't mean they don't care-it means they DO care. He does.

I had Professor Swim for MGMT 209 last semester, and though the class was difficult, I really enjoyed it! That class stimulated my interest in law. And the class isn't so hard that you can't make a good grade... you just have to study (ZOMG, study?! You have to study in college?!) and really pay attention in class (that means quit checking Facebook on your laptop and start taking notes).

As for his comments about 4.0 and Go, I agree. It's ridiculous to pay so much money for people to tell you to study when you could easily do that for free at the library or even in the comfort of your own home.

And did people really believe he was monitoring who was going to 4.0 and Go and giving them lower grades? I have to wonder how those people got into A&M in the first place if they believed that crap...

I love this guy! Keith Swim is the man, he does so much good for all of those trying to get into law school by making unreasonable tests from his worthless book, that even if one tried to read through, they couldn't because he can't write. It is guys like this that our putting Mays business school to shame. The NUMBER ONE business school in Austin would never hire a big fat washed up lawyer who handles minor worthless lawsuits to teach their students. I am not posting spam, just my realistic view.

I was a student of Mr. Swim's in '91, and found myself as his client in '92 (shame on me). He was as wonderful of a professor in the classroom as he was an attorney in the courtroom. Glad to read this article on my absolute favorite professor @ Texas A&M.
