Why was representation by Texas A&M so conspicuously absent from the Texas Science and Engineering Fair held this past weekend in San Antonio?

The talent and ingenuity is saw displayed there left me with the impression was that both A&M and MAES would have had the perfect chance to meet, greet, and recruit some of the most outstanding Mexican American high school students in the state - the very type of student that Texas A&M hopes to attract through its diversity initiatives.
