I've been waiting for improvement for the past 5 years. I'm getting sick of waiting.

5-Years? This program has been on a steady decline both on the field and recruiting wise since Sherrill left. Slocum could not recruit an achoholic to a free wine tasting and Francione can't turn raw talent into anything tangible. The players on the field have the talent, they just don't have a motivating leader running the team. Time to Can Fran for lack of performance and most importantly for his e-mail scandal (Stupid Is as Stupid Does) so we don't have to pay him anything on his way out the door. What he did was unethical but what do you expect from a person who came to A&M by leaving Alabama on unethical terms as well.

Go get Kubiak from the Texans or see if there is another Stoops brother out there looking for a job. Somebody that will not accept mediocrity and smile all the way to the bank like Fran.

As soon as the Exhibition Season ends Thanksgiving weekend, we can expect some really progress in December ... with a new head coach. By the way, the Ags top commitment for 2008, Rivals.com Top 100 player Lamar Harris (ranked the #24 best player in the nation) ... this past weekend visited OU to watch the Sooner defeat Missouri in what might be a preview of the Big 12 Championship game. Every day the Dennis Franchione Error, er, I mean Era continues, the cancer continues to do damage to the next two seasons of recruits for 2008 and 2009 [which affect how we will do on the field through 2011 and 2012]. That is why Coach Fran TODAY should offer his resignation effect the end of the UT v. A&M game, and take his 1 year severance before his contract is terminated for breach of contract.

If Fran goes and If A&M begins the hunt for a new coach, I like Paul Johnson at Navy, trying to convince Tom Osborne to be our Savior, or finding a hard working Assistant Coach and giving him his first head coaching job, kinda like OU did with bobby, and TT with Leach, and lets face it, with a coach like those two we might have a good shot at a National Title, Im tired of this almost 70 year drought.

coach that is too high but we should try for if he is fired...

Lloyd Carr

coach that may be a good fit...

coach from U Cincinatti (sorry can't remember the name), plus Dat Nguyen at linebackers coach or DC

coach that would just be hilarious, but not a bad play to start young....

Major Applewhite.... that's right... a longhorn coaching aggies... plus he's the OC at Alabama, which means stealing away coaches from there is a new tradition!
