Next bullet on the list: Barcelona

Lists promote organization, satisfaction for a Barcelona-bound Aggie

·       FCBarcelona Game: After a semi-successful season of intramural soccer, it is necessary to get an eyewitness account on the world's game. I have plenty of friends who will disown me if I fail to take advantage of this opportunity. From what I hear, soccer in Spain is just as insane as football here in the states. I also aim to meet Gerard Pique, famous footballer and boyfriend of Shakira. (You never know what could happen abroad!)

Outside Barcelona:

Though there is plenty more to do and see within second largest city in Spain, there are a few out of town excursions I'd like to take while in Europe.

·       Granada: One of my best friends is studying here, and it's on the top of my list of places to visit. Rich in culture and history, it will be a fun place to visit with a familiar face. I plan on doing some hiking and hopefully get a feel for the outdoors during this visit.

·       Italia: Aggies abroad will sure make this semester eventful, especially with such good friends in so many countries. I have no actual plan for this trip, but I know it will be successful with one of my closest partners in crime.

·       Germany: This trip seems to be a little farther fetched, but if everything works out I'd like to visit one of my favorite architect majors for Oktoberfest!

These lists really do help with my everyday life. I'm sure things will come up and this entire semester won't play out exactly as I planned, but I can't help to hope for the best and at least try to accomplish everything I've noted. Try lists. Whether just for a day's worth of tasks or a semester long list of goals, there is something rather satisfying about crossing things off a list. This is my last post in the great state of Texas; expect to hear more about Spain next week.
