Despite the erroneous 2009 TAMU Academic Schedule printed in the Student Discount Handbook, a free coupon book, classes will be held on Labor Day, Sept. 7. "Even though Labor Day is a national holiday, it's a regular class day at Texas A&M," said Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academics Karan Watson. "I want to remind students to be sure and attend class and 'work' hard as we begin the second week of classes."
