The Texas A&M University System launched a Risk and Management Hotline designed to proactively manage compliance and other ethical issues. The hotline is a telephone and web-based reporting system permitting students, faculty, staff and the general public to anonymously report concerns of possible misconduct within the A&M system. It operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is run by third-party EthicsPoint. Examples of possible issues that could be reported include discrimination, violations of safety rules, theft, conflicts of interest or NCAA violations. However, the hotline is not an emergency service. Factual information of possible wrongdoing by any faculty member, student or anyone associated with the A&M system may be reported through the hotline. Suspected misconduct may be submitted through the Texas A&M website at www.tamu.edu, www.ethicspoint.com or through the toll-free hotline at 1-888-501-3850.
