Many colors of diversity: Gay Awareness Week begins

As part of A&M's mission to promote diversity throughout the student community, the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Aggies has planned to schedule events for Gay and Lesbian Awareness week. "This week marks the national [court] case where A&M was forced to recognize GLBTA as an organization which dates back to 1985 when the Supreme Court made that decision. We are out here to promote awareness and the events that we have scheduled throughout the week," said Vanessa Delgado, treasurer of GLBTA. Watch the video online at thebatt.com.
