A freezing rain advisory will be in effect for Brazos County from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Houston is reporting temperatures will continue to fall after a strong cold front pushed through the area Tuesday. Precipitation in North Texas has grounded planes, canceled bus routes and caused numerous traffic accidents. The storm system is expected to stretch into Southeast Texas as freezing temperatures reach the region at around 10 p.m. Travel conditions could become hazardous, especially on bridges and overpasses.
