Memorial Student Center Student Conference On National Affairs and MSC Town Hall will present a concert entitled "Voices of the Past and Present" to celebrate Veterans Day at 7 p.m tonight in Rudder Theater.

The concert will include performances by Charlie Gore and Max Stalling and testimonies from four veterans from different wars.

"Through song and sharing of stories and experiences, we can come together on this day and remember as well as embrace the heritage of military service of Texas A&M," said Internal Marketing Director for the conference Artem Neretin, a member of Company A-1 in the Corps of Cadets.

These veterans include Brig. Gen. Donald Johnson, Marine Corps Commendation Medal award recipient Maj. Christian Emerson, Navy Commendation Medal with Valor awardee Daniel Moran and Gregory Wilson, a junior at A&M and Afghanistan war veteran.

"We put together 'Voices of the Past and Present' in order to give tribute in celebration to the courage and commitment with which veterans have protected our freedoms. We really feel that even though the Memorial Student Center is closed we can still show our appreciation for the sacrifices of our veterans through this celebration," Neretin, a sophomore business major, said.

Tickets are $5 and are on sale until 8 p.m.
