National Engineers' Week comes to A&M
National Engineers' Week takes place Monday to Saturday, and the Student Engineers Council is hosting a weeklong series of related events. SEC's Engineers' Week events include speakers and a five-kilometer run. Meeting to take place on designated tuition
A public hearing to discuss designated tuition for the fall of 2007 will take place Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center 292. Interim President Eddie Davis, who announced the hearing in a campus-wide e-mail, said he encourages students to attend the meeting.
Historian to lecture on lessons from Vietnam
Military historian James Wilbanks, Class of 1969, will address lessons from the conflict in Vietnam applicable to the ongoing war in Iraq, in a lecture presented by the Texas A&M History Club. Wilbanks is the director of the Department of Military History at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and is an award-winning author.
