Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne announced Tuesday after staff meetings that students may use tents while camping out to pull tickets for the A&M versus Texas men's basketball game scheduled for Monday. "We met with student leaders and there was discussion about not allowing tents," Byrne said. "But I feel it is best to protect our students from the weather, so tents will be allowed beginning at 11 p.m. on Wednesday." Byrne also announced that an original plan to give away 300 student tickets at the Saturday women's basketball game against Kansas will not take place. "After considering the feedback, I have decided to make all 4,200 student tickets available for pull as usual," Byrne said.
