Picking up the slack

The Aggies had eight interceptions in 2007, and four were by Marquis Carpenter, who is gone. But the secondary is one of the deepest and most experienced groups on the team. Junior Jordan Peterson and senior Devin Gregg will be the morale and motivational leaders.

Carrying the load

Running back Mike Goodson will again be the offense's work horse Head Coach Mike Sherman has indicated that the option will be all but gone, but running will still be the staple for the Aggies.

Toeing the line

The offensive line corps in 2007 was expected to dominate, but severely underachieved, especially on pass plays. With four starters from a year ago gone, the line will be one of the biggest question marks. Senior Travis Schneider and junior Michael Shumard will anchor the line in 2008.
