This weekend the Aggie Bass Club Fishing Team posted a top-ten finish at the College Bass National Championship on the Arkansas River in Little Rock, Ark.

Graduate student Trevor Knight and sophomore Andy Shafer finished eighth place out of forty, and at the top of all Texas teams. While they failed to qualify for the day three final, the team caught eight fish totaling more than 15 pounds over the first two days.

The championships will air on ESPN in November.
