Iowa St at Kansas St Iowa State will travel to Kansas State Saturday in search of its first conference win on the 2008 season. The Cyclones have lost nine consecutive games. Junior quarterback Josh Freeman has led the Wildcats in the 2008 season. Freeman has passed for 30 touchdowns and scored 16 touchdowns on the ground. The Wildcats will look to exploit Iowa State's pass defense, which is ranked No. 115 nationally.
Winner: Kansas State
No. 2 Texas Tech at No. 5 Oklahoma Texas Tech's game against Oklahoma will close out a tough stretch of four games in which the Red Raiders faced ranked opponents, the final three being against Top-10 teams. If Tech wins in Norman, Okla., the Raiders will clinch the Big 12 South title. If Tech loses, chaos will ensue for the Big 12 South title. The two teams have similar strengths. Both are ranked in the Top 5 in the country in passing yards, total yards and points scored. Oklahoma will have to rely on its defense to slow down the Tech offensive attack. The Tech defense has shown in past games that it can withstand strong offenses. The Raiders may have difficulty winning on the road. Tech's victories against Top-10 teams have happened at home and the Raiders have not won in Norman since 1996. The game will feature three Hesiman Trophy hopefuls in Tech quarterback Graham Harrell, Tech receiver Michael Crabtree and Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford.
Winner: Oklahoma
