In response to "Viva la sexual revolution" on Feb. 13:

I'm proud to say that one of the reasons I chose to attend Texas A&M University is because it is a largely conservative and Christ-following campus. The people here are very friendly, have mainly Christian-based morals and tend to have Republican ideals. I understand there are some people who are extreme and need to be a bit more open to things in society (i.e. our president), but reading from someone trying to impose these secular and, in my opinion, immoral ideals nearly infuriates me. Telling people they should indulge in premarital sex, hetero- or homo-sexual, should not be something advocated by an Aggie-run newspaper. I am sad to open up The Batt almost every day and find someone new trying to force us to believe that homosexuality is acceptable, that we should have as much sex as we want as long as we're educated, and frankly, they pretty much tell us to drop our Christian beliefs. As a follower of Christ and a man with morals, I take a stand right now and say this should not be acceptable and we should receive informative articles and political discussions rather than one-sided babbling about subjects we don't agree with.
