Texas A&M is home to many people from around the world. Some leave their home countries at an early age, whereas others leave home just after secondary schooling.
"Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, there is nothing to replace that. The culture, the food and the people are very different, and a lot of my experiences and discipline came from my growing up there," said Ufuoma Ojumah, a senior chemical engineering major.
Born and reared in Lagos, Nigeria, Ojumah talks about family, food and culture in Nigeria, and how he came to further his education at A&M. Watch his story online at thebatt.com.
