After reading that in order to use the facilities at the newly opened University Club you must hold a faculty position and staff must have the title of director and above or equivalent I was somewhat taken back. I called Dining Services just to verify what I read was indeed true. The person I spoke verified what I had read so I asked how someone without the required titles could use the club and was told that a "member" would have to be a sponsor. I guess I missed the part where it said there were membership fees. If Dining Services has elected to call it "University Club," shouldn't it be open to all university employees, not a select few?
