Aggies should show respect

I am absolutely appalled and infuriated by the blatant disrespect that certain so-called "Aggies" have displayed toward Texas A&M professors and students. The second half of my Monday evening political science class was continuously disrupted by a large number of students clamoring in the hallway, anxious to get into our classroom. Clearly, the room was designated for our class at the time. However, these students were so insistent on gaining immediate access to the room that they repeatedly knocked on and opened the doors, waving and shouting at those of us attempting to learn information that will be on our upcoming final. People in the hallway could be heard from the front row, encouraging those of us in class to leave, cheering students' departures and mocking the professor both before and after he approached them to ask that they quiet down and move away from the doors. As soon as class was dismissed, those waiting in the hallway didn't even bother to let us out of the room before they pushed and shoved their way in. What happened to the Aggie reputation of being friendly and courteous? The only title these students deserve certainly isn't appropriate for printing.
